PALAS Interior Tile Adhesive TERRA
Powder, cement-based, mineral adhesive for indoor bonding of absorbent ceramic wall and floor tiles and panels on solid mineral substrates in a 4 – 10 mm thick layer.
Characteristics
High stability and hardness, excellent adhesion.
Application
Mix the contents of a 25 kg bag with 6 l of water while constantly mixing with electric mixer until uniform mixture is achieved. Allow the mixture to rest for approximately 10 min and mix again. Apply adhesive with a notched trowel to cover over 2/3 of the tile surface with adhesive. Select the trowel teeth size according to the size of the tile. Adhesive open time is 20 min, which should be taken into account when planning for the working area. Firmly press and level the tiles. Corrections can be made within 5 – 10 min. Mixed adhesive must be used within 2 h.
Curing
Tiles are grouted 24 h after bonding. Full loading after 7 days.
