PALAS Flexible Tile Adhesive FLEXO

Powder, cement and polymer-based, mineral adhesive for indoor and outdoor flexible bonding of absorbent and unabsorbent ceramic wall and floor tiles and panels, natural stone, on solid mineral substrates in a 4 – 10 mm thick layer. Suitable for wet areas, existing tiles, underfloor heating, balconies and terraces.

Characteristics

Flexible, no sagging on vertical surfaces, moisture and frost resistant, extended open time, high adhesion and strength.

Application

Mix the contents of a 25 kg bag with 6 l of water while constantly mixing with electric mixer until uniform mixture is achieved. Allow the mixture to rest for approximately 10 min and mix again. Apply adhesive with a notched trowel to cover over 2/3 of the tile surface with adhesive. Select the trowel teeth size according to the size of the tile. Adhesive open time is about 30 min, which should be taken into account when planning for the working area. Firmly press and level the tiles. Corrections can be made within 5 – 10 min. Mixed adhesive must be used within 2 h.
