NITRO Metal Primer
Corrosion protection primer for protection of metal surfaces on interior and exterior iron and steel structures. Used in a system with NITRO Enamel, NITRO Effect Varnish or DURLIN Wood and Metal Enamel.
Characteristics
Fast curing and ensuring long-term corrosion protection.
Application
Applied by brush, roller or spray in 1 – 2 layers. Diluted with NITRO Thinner 10 – 20%.
Curing
Next coating can be applied after 6 h, a Coating is fully cured after 24 h.

0.75 l; 5 l
Consumption
Depending on application method, 8 – 10 m²/l in one layer.
Colours
Grey and oxide red. Grey is recommended as primer for lighter shades of finish coatings.
