LIGNOLUKS Parquet Adhesive PU 101
Two-part polyurethane adhesive for laying moisture-sensitive parquet flooring, large size parquet, traditional parquet flooring, plank flooring, laminate flooring, exotic wood flooring, and previously lacquered parquet flooring. Especially recommended in cases when permanent elasticity, moisture resistance and resistance to high mechanical loads is required. It is used when high temperature resistance is required, such as underfloor heating.
Characteristics
Does not contain water, solvents or harmful amines. Cures in a chemical reaction regardless of the quantity of adhesive applied.
Application
Applied by a notched trowel (teeth depth 5 mm, teeth width 6 mm, teeth spacing 8 mm). Pour the entire contents of part B into the part A container. When mixing a small quantity of adhesive, per 1 kg of part A, exactly 100 g part B should be added. Mix thoroughly both parts using a low-speed mixer. Mix and apply only such quantity of adhesive which is required to lay parquet flooring within a period of 45 – 60 min.
Curing
Parquet can be sanded and lacquered after 24 h.
Packaging
6.6 kg (part A – 6 kg, part B – 0.6 kg); 14.3 kg (part A – 13 kg, part B – 1.3 kg); Part B is packed in a plastic pail with part A.
Consumption
Depending on the type of parquet flooring and substrate porosity, 0.9 -1.5 kg/m².
