FASAKRIL Mineral Plaster
Protective decorative facade plaster based on white cement. Used for treatment of exterior and interior mineral wall surfaces. Used as finish coat for thermal insulation facades. Manufactured in two grain sizes and two textures, smooth – Z and rough – R.
Characteristics
Water-repellent and vapour-permeable, resistant to weather, scratching and impact.
Application
Applied by hand, uniformly, with a stainless-steel trowel in the thickness of the coarsest grain or, mechanically, with appropriate application gun on a surface free from dust and other loose and friable particles. Before application, apply FASAKRIL Plaster Undercoat GRUND. Mix the contents of the 25 kg bag with 6 l of water, stirring constantly with an electric mixer until completely homogenized. Leave the mixture to rest for approximately 10 minutes and stir again. Immediately apply FASAKRIL Mineral Plaster Z in a circular pattern with a plastic trowel until uniform texture is achieved. After short period of curing, apply FASAKRIL Mineral Plaster R with a plastic trowel in the desired pattern: circular, vertical or horizontal. Clean all residues and tools with water immediately after use.
Curing
Tack-free after 6 – 10 h, and resistant to rain after 24 h (T=+20°C, RH 65%).
